Our Terms and Conditions page outlines the rules and guidelines for using our website and services.

Arrival Time

In order to have the best experience, we invite clients to arrive on time to ensure there is plenty of time to check in, use the bathroom, fill out any necessary forms and choose from the vast range of colors available. As a courtesy to all our clients a prompt appointment schedule is adhered to, late appointments may not be honored. Services begun late will be shortened in consideration of the next client.

Online Booking Terms and Conditions

We would like to ensure that your appointment at Herkimer Nails runs as smoothly as possible. Please read our booking rules and guidance so that you get the most from your visit to us.

  • We will contact you to discuss any alterations to your appointment.  
  • Prices are intended as guide only. You will be charged for the services you receive, which may differ from the services you have booked.  
  • Prices do not display when booking.
  • Bookings made online may need to be slightly amended to fit in with salon time slots and technicians’ commitments. Please ensure that we have a current contact phone number for you (preferably a mobile!).  
  • If you miss your appointment or cancel it with less than 2 hours’ notice, we will not charge you. If you are unable to find the availability that you are looking for, don’t worry, just give us a ring (315) 866-6364 and our Reception Team will do their very best to find an appointment to suit your needs!

Cancellation Policy

At Herkimer Nails we have a strict 2-hour cancellation policy in order to accommodate the high demand of appointments. This policy applies across the board whether booked in person, on the phone, via email or online through our website. We are happy to cancel or reschedule appointments, providing we have at least 2 hours notice. For the avoidance of doubt failure to notify Herkimer Nails within 2 hours will result in the loss of the appointment and 100% cancellation fee or loss of a bundle item (if any). Clients arriving more than 10 minutes late for their appointments will risk losing their appointment and may have to wait until the next available technician. A no-show and repeat cancellations are required by the system to then only book via our app.

Gift Certificates

Gift vouchers are valid for a period of 12 months. Herkimer Nails will not accept responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged gift certificates.
Gift certificates may not be exchanged for cash or other vouchers. Change will not be given, but the balance will remain on the gift certificate until its expiry date. Please note that ONLY HERKIMER NAILS GIFT CERTIFICATES can be used at Herkimer Nails located at 400 East State St.

Lost Property

We ask clients to look after their property while at Herkimer Nails as we are unable to take responsibility of items left unattended.

Herkimer Nails reception. Items will be stored for 30 days, if they are not collected within this time they will be donated to local charities. Liquids, under garments and hairbrushes are kept for 72 hours only.

Nail Aftercare Service

In the event you chip your nails within three days after lacquering (four days for gel polish), please report this with a photo to hello[at]herkimernails.com and we will offer you a free touch-up on the effected nails within seven days. Outside this period there will be a small fee, please refer to price list.

Children’s Policy

We are delighted to offer services for children under 16 years old however they must be accompanied by an adult for the whole duration. Please contact Herkimer Nails for details on services available for our young guests. We understand at times it is necessary to bring your children to the salon; we endeavor to accommodate this, but we ask that you respect other clients.

Health Conditions

Kindly advise us of any health conditions, allergies or injuries which could affect your choice of services when making your spa reservation.


Rest assured that your privacy is important to us, and we are committed to maintaining the privacy of any personal information we collect from you. We do not share any of your personal information with any third party organizations and we abide by the principles of US data protection legislation.

No Refund Policy

We strive to deliver exceptional service with every appointment at Herkimer Nails. However, if for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your service, please don’t hesitate to let us know. While we do not offer refunds for services rendered, we are committed to addressing any concerns you may have and ensuring your satisfaction. Your feedback is invaluable to us as we continuously strive to improve our services and exceed your expectations.

Notice of Non-Affiliation and Disclaimer

Herkimer Nails is not affiliated with any other nail salons. Only Herkimer Nails’s Gift Certificates can be used at Herkimer Nails located at (400 E State St; Herkimer, NY 13350).

The Right to Refuse Service

Please note we reserve the right to refuse service; disrespect and rudeness towards Herkimer Nails staff will not be tolerated.

Herkimer Nails reserve the right to amend Terms and Conditions as and when it is considered necessary to do so. Reasonable notice will be given for this.​

Terms and Conditions Updates

We may, at any time, and at our sole discretion, modify these Terms and Conditions of Use, including our Privacy Policy, with or without notice to the User. Any such modification will be effective immediately upon public posting. Your continued use of our Service and this Site following any such modification constitutes your acceptance of these modified Terms.
